One of the worst ways to start your day is having your car serviced. For one, even though you are there for a specific reason and you know how much it is going to cost, inevitably, the guy behind the counter comes out and suggest that you get other things fixed.
And then there is that smell - kind of a mixture of new tires, oil and coffee. But its not all bad though. Despite the fact that you end up spending an arm and a leg, you really never who you are going to run across. And today, for me, was one of those days.
I usually don't mirror what I have posted to others sites on this site. Rapport is a different type of leadership training and those who have attended keep a close watch on themselves and others. One thing they listen for very closely is the word TRY. While you might feel that TRY shows effort, in Rapport language, TRY is not a good word.
