Sometimes we just need inspiration. Sometimes, in the midst of our storms we need help and guidance. Sometimes, we just need that good old time gospel music, that we heard as children in the church, to reach us, to touch us, to move us. And sometimes, when we hear it, we see clearer, we act more responsibly and we do what God would have us do.

I heard the Reverend Therm James, Senior Pastor of Bethany Baptist Church, In Baltimore, Maryland, say, the other night, "We are who we are because someone, along the way, prayed for us." Not too long ago I was in San Juan, Puerto Rico, working with a business associate from the island. On the rear window of his automobile he had a sticker referencing a Bible verse. Later, when I returned to the States I sent him an email complementing him on the sticker and he answered, "true success in life is experienced when God's will becomes your passion". When I read his words I had one of those "amen" moments. It was such a prophetic statement, but more importantly, it was a call to action.
