I ran across a song awhile ago that I’ve pretty much adopted as my own personal anthem. I was going through some difficulties and a friend recommended the song to me. And when listening to it, the song reminded me of the lessons that I have learned over my years on this earth. And more importantly, it encouraged me to not give up or surrender to those that would bring me down. Because I’m unbreakable.
There are people that will bring you down. They somehow thrive when others fail. But we live in a world where you “get what you give”. So ultimately, the meanness and hate they are spewing will come back their way. In the meantime, when you run across these type of people, ignore them. Charge forward toward your dreams and goals. If they are a part of your life, continue to love and pray for them, but cut yourself free from them.
The important thing is that you can never give in or give up. Because like me, you too, are unbreakable.
